Montreal: The Markets

I admit I’ve been pretty terrible at posting in this blog (mostly because I’ve just gotten really lazy with editing pictures) but in light of recent travels with my family, I decided an update was due!

So last month I roadtripped to Canada – Niagara Falls, Toronto, and Montreal – with my family, and Montreal was by far my favorite city of the three. (I don’t know if I’d count Niagara as a city anyway… it’s more of a glorified tourist town). One of the things I loved most about Montreal, aside from being able to revive some of my high school French knowledge, were the public markets (marchés publics). There are a bunch of these farmers markets around the city, and we went to the two biggest ones, Marché Jean-Talon and Marché Atwater.
